Easter Weekend hunts

Spent some time in the weekend at a few spots, local a&p park, burnt down school and a couple of beaches.

An oldy but a goody, Short hunt this evening and it found more coins than the F2! With a beginer at the helm!

Don't know if its just me but I always seem to find alot of fishing sinkers everywhere I go....

Metal Detecting at Waipu

Went down to Waipu for a while today.
Had some success with old coins!

My 1st ever sixpence and 2nd and 3rd shillings :)
Also found my 1st 50c somehow Ive found over 400 coins before finding one....

Best result from beach yet!

Had a reasonable day at the beach, went to a few diffrent ones in the same area.
Dug pretty much every target so came home with plenty of trash...

Seem to come away with 1c coins nearly every hunt!

Seriously considering a 11" DD for my F2 to increase search area for beaches etc.
